The error could also come from the fact that the game is run on the Intel 5500 Graphics chipset instead of the actual graphics card Nvidia 920M… but I don’t know how to force it to use one graphics device instead of another. In both cases LightDM failed to start and I lost graphical interface on reboot, making it impossible to try to launch the game. So I tried to install the video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-390xx-bumblebee and video-nvidia-390xx I supposed it was because the video-linux drivers are not enough to play the game. I’ve tried several Lutris versions (as it was proposed in several discussions online (can’t include links apparently). Please ensure your PC meets the minimum system requirements and your drivers are up to date. When I launch the game I get this Wine error Failed to initialize graphics device. I installed Lutris, Battlenet and Diablo 2 (in that order). ![]() But with my laptop (ASUS P2520LJ) I am getting errors. ![]() ![]() On my main non-laptop machine I managed to make it work without much of a hustle.
